I'm b-a-a-ack...

Sorry for my silence. I've been deep in the deadline cave. But now the single title book is in, the editor at Penguin really likes it and I have a release date... September 2012.

All we have to do is think up a title... I'll keep you posted...

Meanwhile, in the real world...
Two little people in our family have started kindy.
Someone else in our family has an important date she needs to keep reminding us about...

Elliot is off to New Zealand with our two sons who are taking him trout fishing to celebrate a significant birthday.

And I must update my website and start my next Mills and Boon.
Just as well I love my job. :)

Congratulations on your single title. Those matching backpacks are just so cute. Lots of big, exciting things are happening in your part of the world. I hope Elliot has a grand birthday!

Congratulations on getting the ST book in, Barbara. Love the pic of the 2 little kindie-galz -- soooo cute! Are they sheep backpacks or cows? Whatever, they look gorgeous. Can't believe they've grown so fast.
And what a brilliant birthday present for E. Hope he and the boys have a wonderful time.

Thanks Lacey and Anne. The backpacks are black and white cows. :)
And yes, I'm thrilled that my boys want to give their dad this treat.

It is an exciting time at your house!! Well done on your new book, I look forward to reading it. Kindergarten is such a wonderful place, and I know they will have a wonderful time at school. I remember my indignation when they expected me to have a nap at Kinder: I was very serious about school and I knew there were not meant to be naps!! I wanted to read books.
Oh, a wedding and a special birthday trip too: lots of fun!!!

Already reading at kinder? You bright spark, you!:)

I can't believe we still had slates when I started school. Now they have laptops -- not at Kindy, though.

Barbara, I could rad before I was three. My mum remembers being pregnant with my sister on the bus with me and I was reading the ads inside!! I actually can't remember not being able to read!!

Wow, 2paw, that's amazing. Must admit I can't remember learning to read either, although I'm sure it happened at school. I started school when I was 4.
I guess we never realised how lucky we were.
