Today we're packing up and heading back to Tarzali -- reattempting to live there. Although our Townsville life keeps beckoning to us, we really love it up there in the mountains and we want to grow vegies this winter and really work on our vision for the house and garden.

Ha! Love the title quote. What kind of veggies do you grow in the winter?
Well, Elliot bought fennel bulbs yesterday, so they'll go in first. Do you know fennel? It's wonderfully tasty -- can be used raw in salads or tastes fabulous roasted. Italians use it a lot. And there'll be lots of different tomatoes, although I know that strictly speaking they're not veg.
Perhaps corn, eschallots, silverbeet...
