This week I sent off the manuscript for my latest Penguin offering. It still amazes me that I can email all those pages and they arrive three states away in a matter of seconds. Now, fingers crossed...
Oh my word, how exciting!!! The new technology always makes me marvel. I marvel even more at my mum's ability to use her mobile and her ipad and her DVR. Hope all the pages arrived safely.
They did arrive safely, thanks 2paw. And well done to your mum. I'm afraid my mum is proud of the fact that refuses to have nothing to do with technology. And yet she would find an ipad so simple and we could send her photos and everything. Sigh.
I am very glad the manuscript arrived safely. WE tried to give mum an iPad for ages, but peer pressure from her friends did the trick. She took a photo of the jam she made, with a lovely cover on the lid and sent it to me. She also emails her grand-daughter and generally does bits and bobs. It is so nice to send her photos of my knitting and The Labradors and she sends photos of the roses!!!
