A straw poll

Now's your chance to have a say!

Possible contenders for the title of my next book are...

Adopted: Outback Baby

Outback Baby Surprise

A Baby at Koomalong

Finally, A Family

I would welcome comments from Romance readers on whether any of these titles appeal. Or you are also welcome to make other suggestions for a story about a couple whose baby was given up for adoption when they were 19 and who find themselves brought together by a twist of fate to care for their tiny grandson.

I'm a reader, Barb! I have to say that in view of editorials sudden addiction to the colon, I suspect that they'll like # 1, but my favourite is # 3.

Adopted: Outback Baby
Outback Baby Surprise
A Baby at Koomalong
Finally, A Family

And I just love the story premise. Wish I'd thought of it, actually!

I agree with Liz, suddenly there is a plethora of colons, and I don't really like them in titles. I like #3 and #4, can't really decide which, and I do like the premise of the story!! I think giving the protagonists a ready made history gives the plot a kick start- you're already past the meeting and the 'black moment' (or whatever it is called!!) that has parted them and you can get straight into the story without them having to learn about each other. They can rediscover instead!!!

You spotted the one I'd been given, Liz. The others are my counter- suggestions. My daughters are plugging for #3, too.

And my editor has actually asked for my thoughts!

Barb - I'm in awe. What a wonderful premise that would make a fantastic novel of any length. I'm in awe but I don't know which title to choose, I'm afraid.

I like the A Baby at Koomalong, but then tend to go fro titles like that.
My second choice would Adopted: Outback Baby.
